Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist
Reports To: Inventory Supervisor
FLSA Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt
FT ($18-20/hrly)
Direct Reports: No
Job Summary: The Inventory Control Specialist will help maintain the organization’s inventory in
support of production, while maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintains consistent control of inventory to include receiving, put-a-ways, picking
replenishment, stock transfers, stock level counts and verification.
• Provides daily and as requested inventory reports to customer.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with team members and
customers.
• Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and product shipments made.
• Manages and maintains inventory system.
• Conducts weekly cycle counts and audits of physical inventory.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and outside
vendors.
• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Ability to focus and give attention to little details.
• Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.
• Ability to work legally in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills (word, Excel etc.)
• Experience in a production industry/inventory and operating warehouse equipment– an
advantage.
Job Setting / Environment:
• Schedule: 7am-3:30pm; occasional overtime is required
• This position is performed in an environmentally controlled building and located on the
warehouse floor.
• Location: On-site
