Job Title: Staff Accountant

Job Summary: The Staff Accountant will work closely with the Controller to support
accurate financial record-keeping of multiple international entities in the organization.
This role is responsible for assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable,
month end close reconciliations, general ledger maintenance and various accounting
projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general accounting duties, including month end close, preparation of
journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger to
ensure the accuracy of financial transactions
• Organize and reconcile bank and credit card transactions
• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable, including processing
customer payments and vendor invoices
• Communicate with customers and vendors to ensure all accounts are accurate
• Complete account analysis, investigate and resolve open items
• Reconcile data between two systems
• Prepare weekly internal reports for management
• Assist with bi-weekly payroll, annual audit review and various accounting projects
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 1-3 Years in related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, data analysis)
• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
