Job Title: Human Resources Specialist
Reports To: Human Resources Manager

Job Summary: The Human Resources Specialists supports day-to-day HR operations and ensures efficient delivery of HR services. This role will assist with administrative tasks, employee lifecycle processes, data management, compliance, and employee relations support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, approachable, and capable of handling confidential information with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the recruitment process by posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing documentation, conducting orientation sessions, and collecting exit paperwork.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems and personnel files.
• Help administer HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Track employee attendance, PTO, and leaves of absence; support benefits administration as needed.
• Coordinate employee engagement and recognition programs.
• Assist with compliance tracking, reporting, and audits.
• Respond to internal HR-related inquiries and escalate issues as necessary.
• Participate in special HR projects and continuous process improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of HR generalist or related field experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ADP or other HRIS systems a plus.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Preferred:
• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP). Job Setting / Environment:
• Full-time position: hours may vary based on business needs. (7am-4pm)
• Office environment with occasional need to walk warehouse floor or attend company events.
• This position is performed in an environmentally controlled building. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and computer usage.
• Location: On-site
